Due to reduced public transport capacity and the need for social distancing, motorcycles and electric-assist bicycles are becoming a more popular choice these days.

We’ve shown you models from big names like Triumph and Moto Morini. It turns out, Peugeot has their own lineup of electric assist bicycles as well.

Peugeot’s offerings consist of the Legend (neo-retro), City, Road, Trekking, and Mountain. Each one has a unique solution for propulsion and battery storage.

The most extreme is the Mountain bike line. It’s designed to tackle steep gradients with its powerful motor. It has a Bosch PowerTube 400 Wh battery with a range of up to 60 kilometers.

All of the models come in a variety of colors as well as frame sizes ( S, M, L, or XL) and can be ordered from their online store. Prices start at €1,349 (PhP75,500) and go all the way up to €2,699 (PhP151,000).

For now the Peugeot electric bicycles are only available in select dealers, mainly in France. Yet with the popularity of electric bicycles picking up, maybe it’s something Peugeot Philippines should consider.
