Are you a resident of Cavite, from the towns of Naic, Tanza, Rosario, Noveleta, or  General Trias? Does your route pass through these towns? Do you frequently visit Kaybiang Tunnel?

If so, you might already be familiar with the traffic jam caused by the bottleneck at the intersection in Tejero. Unfortunately, it's not going to get better. Possibly worse.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Cavite has temporarily closed the old Tejero bridge (middle section) along Antero Soriano Highway in Tanza to all traffic. This is in preparation for its long-overdue rehabilitation works. The closure started October 11 and will remain closed until further notice, according to DPWH.

To avoid being caught in traffic, motorists are advised to take alternate routes through the inner roads of Imus, General Trias, or postpone your trip to a later date if possible.
