Suzuki announces SRP of new 800cc V-Strom for North America

Back in November of last year, Suzuki showed the world their new 800cc platform, mainly with the V-Strom adventure bike which is now powered by an inline 2-cylinder engine as opposed to the traditional V-twin.

The North American prices for the V-Strom 800DE adventure bike, as well as the GSX-8S line of naked bikes, have been announced.

All new from the ground up, both models are equipped with advanced features at an affordable price point. Including the new 776cc parallel-twin powerplant, TFT display, Bi-directional Quick Shifter, and modern inverted suspension, the GSX-8S and V-Strom 800DE are positioned to capitalize on the growing interest in the mid-size motorcycle market.

2023 V-Strom 800

The all-new 2023 V-Strom 800DE will be priced at USD 11,349 while the V-Strom 800DE Adventure comes in at USD 12,999 and includes quick-release black 37-liter aluminum side cases, plus a rugged accessory bar and aluminum skid pan for true off-road touring capability.

Both bikes are powered by Suzuki’s newly-developed 776cc liquid-cooled DOHC parallel-twin engine which is claimed to be capable of producing 86 PS of power and 74 Nm of torque.

The US dollar to Philippine Peso SRP equivalent would be PHP 620,500 and PHP 710,700, respectively, without duties, taxes, and freight.

2023 GSX-8S

Using the same new platform, the GSX-8S is a worthy road/naked bike built for everyday thrills as well as a long-ride companion during weekends.

As for the GSX-8S, the North American SRP starts at USD 8,849, or about PHP 483,800, without duties, taxes, and freight.

While these are just North American prices, they should give us a ballpark idea of these models' SRP by the time they land on our shores sometime this year.
