This year’s Makina Moto Show, which happened between July 29 to 31, has showcased a couple of new motorcycles to hit the Philippine market. One of them is the MV Agusta F3 RR.
The new F3 RR is powered by an inline-3 cylinder, 798cc “Trepistoni” engine that is capable of producing almost 150 Ps of power and 88 Nm of torque. Power is further elevated to 157 Ps if fitted with an optional racing kit that includes an ECU with race mapping and full Akrapovic exhaust system.
The Trespistoni powerplant also features titanium intake and exhaust valves, six fuel injectors (2 for each cylinder), and an oil cooler to complement the radiator in cooling the engine.
The transmission is a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, while the shifter is electronically assisted. The maximum speed is claimed to be over 240 kilometers per hour.
On the electronic side of the F3 RR’s features, a 5.5” full TFT screen will show all the bike’s information to the rider and can be connected to the rider’s smartphone via Bluetooth.
Other standard electronic features include ABS, traction and wheelie control, and many more. Dry weight is 173 kilos.
The new MV Agusta F3 RR is available in Motostrada, 8th Street cor. 11th Avenue, Grace Park Caloocan City. The suggested retail price is PHP 1,750,000.
