Country's top dealer groups represented

The Motorcycle Dealers Association of the Philippines (MDAP) recently inducted its officers for the year 2018-2020 in a simple ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City. Leading the festivities was the association’s president, Mr. Edwin Go, who is also a household name in the motorcycle community through his radio talk show, Motorsiklo Xklusibo.

In his speech, the incumbent MDAP president thanked the Land Transportation Office for “Always giving the motorcycle industry a listening ear” notably, Atty. Romeo Vera Cruz, the agency’s current Executive Director.

“He (LTO ED Vera Cruz) is our friend. He is a friend of the dealers. He always listens to our plight. The good thing about him is that he also provides solutions," continued Go, MDAP president. "This will be the promise of the Motorcycle Dealers Association of the Philippines: in spite of the growth, in spite of the happiness that we’re feeling right now because of the growth of the industry, we promise to actively participate most especially with the LTO.”

He also emphasized MDAP’s commitment to helping the government deliver its services for the benefit of the motorcycle riding community.

Since its founding in 1997, the Motorcycle Dealer’s Association of the Philippines had grown into 22 member dealers, comprised of the country’s largest motorcycle dealers with networks that stretch from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
