To provide residents of Bacoor, Cavite, as well as other nearby areas easier access to government service, Transportation Secretary, Arthur Tugade, has officially opened the doors of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Bacoor District Office (DO) Transportation Hub.
During yesterday’s inauguration of the new LTO Bacoor DO, Sec. Tugade has also directed the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) – which is an agency under the DOTr – to join LTO Bacoor DO under one roof to make it a “transportation hub”, bringing government services closer to the people.
“Today I am giving instructions to explore all things possible in converging LTO, LTFRB, and other services on this site,” said Tugade. “I want this to become a transportation hub. There’s the LTO, then there’s LTFRB. Also, there’s an MVIS, a driving school, and One Licensing. All of them in one place.”
LTO Bacoor DO is expected to provide better services not only to the people of Bacoor, but also to the people of nearby areas, who, in the past must travel all the way to other cities like Dasmarinas, Imus, Naic, or even as far as Quezon City to transact with the LTO or LTFRB.
