Since its introduction back in 2014, the MT-07 has been one of Yamaha’s best-selling motorcycles, not only in Japan, but also around the world. New for 2021, the MT-07 gets a facelift and some other upgrades.
The 2021 model year MT-07 is now in its 3rd-generation. Yamaha says this new style emphasizes its “Hyper Naked” character. Controversially, they have opted for a single, centrally-mounted LED headlight. It's flanked by verticle daytime running lamps on either side. It comes with a wider and taller handlebar to improve riding ergonomics.
Yamaha has also updated the intake air duct design and ECU, making the 2021 model more refined and more responsive than the outgoing model. The 689cc CP-2 engine also gets some improvements for more power and smoother delivery.
The new Yamaha MT-07 will be available soon in Thai showrooms at ThB289,000 (PhP453,000 PH duties and taxes not included). Yamaha Philippines has yet to announce its arrival and price, which may differ because of duties and taxes in our country.
