2021 improvements

The 2021 model year MT-07 is now in its 3rd-generation. Yamaha says this new style emphasizes its “Hyper Naked” character. Controversially, they have opted for a single, centrally-mounted LED headlight. It's flanked by verticle daytime running lamps on either side. It comes with a wider and taller handlebar to improve riding ergonomics.

Yamaha has also updated the intake air duct design and ECU, making the 2021 model more refined and more responsive than the outgoing model. The 689cc CP-2 engine also gets some improvements for more power and smoother delivery.
