More than 600 BMW Motorrad owners, riders and their friends gathered recently at the San Miguel Corporation compound in Pasig City as part of the year-end breakfast ride gathering initiated by BMW Motorrad Philippines.

Perhaps the highlight of the event was the arrival of San Miguel's top boss himself, Mr. Ramon S. Ang, who happily mingled with the riders. RSA, as he's often referred to in the industry, declared onstage that gatherings like this should be done more often to further strengthen the camaraderie of all BMW Motorrad owners.

Spencer Yu, SMC Cars president, has also revealed during the gathering that the much-awaited new BMW models — the all-new S 1000 XR and F 900 XR; F 900 R and the R 18 — will land here in the Philippines soon. The new S 1000 XR, F 900 XR and F 900 R will be launched during the first quarter of next year, while the 1800cc R 18 motorcycle will be launched during the last quarter of next year. The Philippine SRP of these models will be announced by BMW Motorrad soon.
