Motul lubricants allow riders to push to their limits at challenging Sepang International Circuit

Round 2 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship came to a close at Sepang International Circuit on May 14, 2023, which saw the Motul-Supported Manual Tech Racing team take a solid points haul and solidify its P3 positioning in the Team Championship Standings. The race was a challenging one, but despite the obstacles faced by the team, they managed to pull through and score a strong result. However, Motul lubricants ensured that the riders extract maximum performance from the bike to increase their chances of scoring points. Motul has been a valuable partner for the team for several years, which has allowed it to understand the products better and improve formulations for future lubricants.

The Motul Sniper Manual Tech Racing team ran a 4-bike line-up for this round, consisting of Irfan Ardiansyah (IDN), Aiki Iyoshi (JPN), Liu Chun-Mei (TPE), and a wildcard M. Alif Adamsyah (IDN). The team wanted to collect more data on the bike performance to make adjustments and improve the results in the upcoming rounds. As a part of Motul’s support for the team, the data is also used to improve the lubrication performance by enhancing and tweaking elements in the formulation to improve synergy with the Kawasaki Ninja 250. This translates to improvements for all of Motul’s powersports products that are catered to discerning bike riders across the globe.

This Asia Road Racing Championship is unique with it being run under some of the harshest conditions and most challenging track layouts across Asia. Motul’s support for the team in the championship and the trust of several manufacturers in Motul’s products is a testament to the reliability and resilience its products provide under such testing conditions. The series travels to Japan next for a stunning display of bike racing in Sportsland Sugo at the end of June.
