Italian motorcycle maker, MV Agusta, has just opened the order books for the Superveloce 800, the regular production run of the Superveloce 800 Serie Oro.
No longer limited to just 300 units, the regular run Superveloce 800 features styling very similar to the Serie Oro with a few more changes.
The model is offered in Ago Red and Ago Silver or Metallic Carbon Black and Dark Metallic Matte Grey. Both get gold trellis frames and wheels, as opposed to the Oro’s metallic red paintwork and frame with black wheels.
Any buyer of the regular run Superveloce 800 will be delighted with the artful touches MV Agusta has incorporated. Examples are the streamlined fairing without any visible bolts or screws, the leather strap running the length of the tank, or the LED lighting that still retains the retro look.
The Superveloce 800 is built on the F3 800 platform, but with new front and rear subframes. It features Marzocchi front forks on Sachs shocks with preload, compression, and rebound adjustment.
Powering it is an inline, three-cylinder engine with a counter-rotating crankshaft. It’s dual overhead camshaft manage the 12 titanium intake and exhaust valves. These allow it to produce 148 hp at 13,000 rpm and 88 Nm at 10,600 rpm. Electronics make the engine very flexible with four ride modes: Sport, Race, Rain, and Custom. It also comes with a MV EAS 2.1 Up&Down electronic gearbox and Traction Control system, which has eight levels and a deactivation option. It’s brought to a stop with Brembo brakes governed by a Bosch ABS 9 Plus system with Race Mode. It even includes Rear wheel Lift-Up Mitigation to prevent the back from leaving the ground when braking.
MV Agusta also offers customs parts to further customize the Superveloce 800. Among these are parts similar to the Series Oro, like a yellow windshield, carbon fiber fairing, gold wheel hub, gold tank cover, and many more.
Best of all, these models will be brought in by MV Agusta Philippines. Prices have yet to be announced, but interested clients may already place their reservations.
