Repsol Honda MotoGP Team unveils 2020 riders and livery in Jakarta

Reigning MotoGP Triple Crown Champion, Repsol Honda, unveiled Marc and Alex Marquez’ 2020 RC213V colors, in Jakarta, Indonesia last Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

“We approach this year the same as the last and all others before it, with our full focus and ready to work with the Repsol Honda Team to achieve the best we can,” said Marc Marquez in front of the many Honda fans present during the unveiling.

The current holders of the MotoGP and Moto2 World Championship trophies donned their Repsol Honda Team leathers next to each other and beside the number 93 and 73 bikes that they’ll be racing this season, with Marc Marquez opting for a slightly different number design for the new season.

The aim for 2020? Retaining the Triple Crown. That means taking the Riders, Teams, and Constructors Championship all in the same year. And with 309 victories in the premier class, Honda has established themselves as the dominant force in Grand Prix racing. Their work over the winter period has been intensive to ensure that 2020 continues that trend.

“Together with HRC and Repsol, we have achieved incredible things and continuing this success is a big source of motivation for me, and now I’m eager to start another season and compete again on the RC213V,” added the 26-year-old Marc Marquez.
