Back in July, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) announced the extension of vehicle registrations, including motorcycles, whose number plates end in 6 and 7 to the end of August and September, respectively.

Due to the recent declaration of ECQ that was followed by MECQ across Metro Manila and nearby provinces, the LTO has again announced the extension of vehicle registrations for plate numbers that end in 5, 6 and 7.

For plates ending in 5 and 6, the registration is extended up to September 30, 2021, while plates ending in 7 will have until October 31, 2021. Consequently, for motorcycles with no plate number available, the LTO says to use the date on the Official Receipt (OR) of registration to determine its expiry.

That means if your OR is dated May and June, your motorcycle’s registration is extended up to September 30, 2021, while those with ORs dated July will have until October 31, 2021, to renew your motorcycle’s registration.
