Valid until end of April and May respectively

As the national government imposes stricter quarantine protocols yet again, and some LTO offices may be closed, some of us may be worrying about our motorcycle's registration, particularly those due this month.

Well aware of this problem, the Land Transportation Office is extending the validity of registration of the affected motorcycles.

In a recent advisory from the LTO, those with motorcycles with plate number/ MV File number ending in 3 and 4 (due this month and Apri), have until April 30 and May 31, respectively to register without accruing any fines.

“In view of the continuing enforcement of the nationwide community quarantine at varying levels due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to strictly implement the observance of social distancing and other health and sanitary protocols to protect the health and safety of our employees, as well as our clients, the validity of registration of motor vehicles with plate number ending in 3 and 4 has been EXTENDED up to 30 April 2021, and 31 May 2021, respectively,” announced the LTO through their official social media page.

That means, if your motorcycle or vehicle is due this month or this upcoming April, you’ll have another month to renew its registration without worrying about the fine.
