Photos of upcoming VOGE 900DS adventure bike leaked

Chinese-made motorcycles have really come a long way from just merely Japanese copycats to tech-infused machines, largely thanks to different collaborations with more established Japanese and European motorcycle manufacturers.

For example, it is no secret that CFMOTO is the one who manufactures the LC8 engines for KTM, while Loncin is the one who manufactures the engines for BMW’s F motorcycle range.

If CFMOTO has the 800MT which packs the same engine as KTM’s 790 Adventure and some of its electronics, it is inevitable that fellow Chinese motorcycle giant Loncin will soon follow as they release their own “Euro-spec” adventure bike.

For Loncin’s premium brand VOGE, a new adventure bike is on the way, and some early pictures of the production model have been leaked on the internet. While there is no information as to what the exact specs are, the pictures suggest a few details about the 900DS.

On the outside, the 900DS features a prominent beak design common with adventure bikes, which was made popular by BMW’s GS series. As the name implies, the 900DS should be powered by a 900cc engine, and being the manufacturer of BMW’s 865cc 107 PS parallel twin, it is very much possible that VOGE would also use the same for the 900DDS with a few differences in engine mapping.

Another obvious feature of the 900DS is the 21-inch front and 18-inch (front/rear) wire wheels that tell us that the bike will be intended for the more gnarly stuff that adventure riding offers.

Other obvious features include engine guards, a skid plate, adventure-spec foot pegs, Brembo calipers, full-LED lighting, a TFT screen, and a built-in camera.

The new VOGE 900DS is expected to grace this year’s EICMA motorcycle show in Italy between November 8-13.
