KTM PH proudly announces local manufacture of 790 Duke and Adventure

Adventure Cycle Philippines, Inc. (ACPI) known by most as simply, KTM Philippines, and KTM Asia Motorcycle Manufacturing Inc. (KAMMI) have proudly announced today, during our 122nd Philippine Independence, that their 790 big bike line up is now made at their Sta. Rosa. The products are destined for both domestic and export markets.

“As we celebrate our Independence Day, KTM Asia Motorcycle Manufacturing Inc. (KAMMI) makes history as the first in Asia to start producing 800cc parallel-twin platform motorcycles for the Filipinos and the ASEAN market," said KTM Philippines on their official social media post.

In February of last year, MotoPinas.com was one of the first to break the news about KTM Philippines’ plans to expand its production capability in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, to accommodate bigger displacement bikes, particularly the middle‐weight 790 Duke and Adventure models.

Additionally, KTM Philippines has also slashed the price of their 790 big bike lineup. Starting with the 790 Adventure R, the price had been brought down to PhP749,000 from PhP957,000; the 790 Adventure is down to PhP699,000 from PhP883,000, and the 790 Duke is down to only PhP599,000 from the original SRP of PhP828,000.

Before this development, KTM Philippines have already been assembling the entry-level Duke and RC motorcycles here, particularly the Duke and RC 200/ 390 models for the domestic and export market.
