New off-road motorcycle park opens near the metro

Off-road venues for motorcycles within Metro Manila are few and far in between. Yet one new venue hopes to serve some riders' needs for some practice before the next MX or flat track event.

Starting out as a private motocross facility, the Mitas-KRB Offroad Track is now being developed into a center for off-road riding education and also as an all around off-road activities and events venue.

The 36-hectare track has recently signed a partnership between Bikerbox Inc. c/o Mitas Tyres Philippines and KRB Off-road. The collaboration envisions developing an all-around off-road activities and education facility that will whet the appetite of the young, engage the youth, and empower the family through off-road activities: "We believe that soon enough, our homegrown talents can improve, compete and triumph competition, to represent the flag and country: by creating a home for offroad motorsports in Metro Manila."
