Moto Morini showroom opening soon in Caloocan

Moto Morini, one of Italy’s oldest motorcycle manufacturers, having been established in Bologna by Alfonso Morini in 1937, will be making a comeback in the Philippines and will be distributed by Bristol Motorcycles.

Bristol Motorcycles is the distributor of expressways-legal motorcycles like the Classic 400i, Venturi 500, Veloce 500, Bobber 650, Maxie 400, and Assassin 400.

The new 200 square meter showroom, located at 10th Avenue, Caloocan, will soon display two 650cc models from Moto Morini.

Seiemmezzo STR and SCR

The Seiemmezzo 6½ will be the Italian brand’s naked bike flagship for the middleweight class. The STR will be the sportier naked bike, boasting a little bit more aggressive riding ergonomics, and alloy wheels.

The SCR, on the other hand, has design cues that lean toward a scrambler motorcycle and more upright riding ergonomics. Both bikes are powered by the same 649cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 63 PS of power and 54 Nm of torque. Both versions of the Seiemmezzo 6½ also sport a 16-liter fuel tank, 18-inch front, and 17-inch rear wheels, ABS, KYB suspension system, and TFT screens.

X-Cape

For those who are more adventure inclined, the Moto Morini X-Cape is the bike for you. Powered by the same 649cc engine as the Seiemmezzo 6½, the X-Cape promises to be a capable middleweight adventure bike that can tackle any terrain thanks to its 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire wheels that roll on a pair of Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.

The X-Cape also boasts a 7-inch TFT screen, fully-adjustable Marzocchi forks, Brembo brake calipers, ABS, sporty exhaust and an optional top box and pannier system.

Launch date

The Moto Morini flagship store targets its opening date early in December of this year, with the SRP of the X-Cape, Seiemmezzo 6½ STR and SCR to be announced on opening day.
