The Indian Motorcycle Manufacturing Company is now in the Philippines, distributed by Access Plus / T.A. Marketing, known for distributing Ducati motorcycles, Victory cruisers, Polaris off-road vehicles and Italjet scooters. It opened its first showroom in the Philippines, located at P. Tuazon St. Cubao, Quezon City.
T.A. Marketing, Inc. (Access Plus), led by Toti Alberto, is the exclusive distributor of Indian Motorcycle in the Philippines. With the good economic prospects for the Philippines, T.A. Marketing intends to ensure the availability of Indian Motorcycle products in the country. The local distributor of the American motorcycle company also said that they will provide parts and accessories.
The North Carolina-based brand will be represented by three models lines, the Scout, Chief, and Road Master. The motorcycles are characterized by their low dragster-like profile, long horizontal exhaust pipes, and trademark Indian head on the front fender.
The all-new Scout, features "DNA that will appeal to riders of multiple skill sets and abilities.” Indian Motorcycle said that the Scout is derived from a clean sheet design, creating a potent and precise middle-weight cruiser. It is powered by a liquid-cooled 101 PS 1133cc V-Twin engine.
The Chief line boasts of interesting models like the all-matte black Dark Horse, the classic Chief Vintage, the naked Chief Classic, or the cowled Chieftain, all powered by a Thunder Stroke 111 V-Twin engine. Finally, the Road Master touring bike offers modern style, comfort and power.
T.A. Marketing was founded in 1993 by racing aficionado, Toti Alberto, primarily to provide motorcycle enthusiasts access to premium motorcycle brands, accessories and service. In 2015, T.A. Marketing became the exclusive and premier distributor of Polaris off-road vehicles, Victory Motorcycles and Indian Motorcycle. Other than offering bikes, T.A. Marketing organizes events to bring riders together in fellowship as well as encourage safe riding.
Indian Motorcycle is one of the United States’ first motorcycle companies, founded in 1901 in Springfield, Massachusetts. The marque boasts of a storied motorsports history, including the first three places in the 1911 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. The company supported the war effort in both World Wars by providing the U.S. military with motorcycles. In 2011, Polaris Industries acquired Indian Motorcycle.
Indian Motorcycles are available for viewing at the Indian showroom at 102 P. Tuazon street, Cubao, Quezon City. The flagship Ducati Manila showroom is set to transfer to a new location in Katipunan, Quezon City.
