Husqvarna broadens EV offerings with the Vektorr e-scooter concept

Shortly after taking off the wraps of the e-Pilen concept, Husqvarna Motorcycles adds another EV to their electric mobility portfolio: the Vektorr e-scooter.

The Vektorr Concept is the first electric scooter ever produced by Husqvarna Motorcycles and is aimed squarely at the urban commuter who demands a compact, stylish and effective personal transport solution to fit their busy lifestyle. Styled and ridden like a conventional scooter, the Vektorr Concept will deliver a top speed of up to 45 kilometers per hour and a range of up to 95 kilometers – or about the same distance from Manila, NCR, to Lipa City, Batangas.

Reported to be powered by a 4 kW electric motor, the Vektorr's battery pack is designed to be swappable with future EV models from Honda, Piaggio, and Yamaha through their Swappable Batteries Consortium.

Alongside the E-Pilen Concept, the Vektorr Concept offers a tantalizing vision of what Husqvarna Motorcycles’ move into electric urban mobility will look like. Progressive, innovative, stylish, and unique, these values will be applied across the E-Mobility range.

The Vektorr, together with the e-Pilen - if it goes into production - is rumored to become available in showrooms as early as 2022.
