Upgrades mostly cosmetic

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) updates the CRF 250L for 2019. HPI updates the off-road bike’s style with an on/off road design inspired by the CRF 250R.

The most notable changes are its new color scheme, new red headlight cover, bronze front fork, black top and bottom bridge, and black rims. The new model also features a digital meter panel.

The CRF 250L is powered by a liquid cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke PGM-Fi DOHC engine with 4 valves and electric start. It produces 23.7 PS at 8,500 rpm and 23.1 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It’s paired to a 6-speed manual that drives the rear wheels via chain drive.

It features an inverted telescopic front fork and a pro-link rear swing arm, riding on 21-inch spoke wheels in front and 17 inch spoke wheels in the rear. It’s brought to a stop with disc brakes in the front and rear. This gives it a ground clearance of 257 mm and a seat height of 881 mm. It tips the scales with a wet weight of 144 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 7.8 liters.
