Think our motorcycle options are Jurassic? Honda Malaysia is still selling the Dream, and they've just updated it for 2020 with... new graphics. That may explain why there are bizarre creations like the Yamaha Nmax – Honda Dream Frankenstein we shared in the past.
Called the EX5 in Malaysia, the Dream is powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 110cc engine with PGM-Fi. It's paired with a four-speed automatic clutch gearbox. The EX5 produces a staggering 8.5 hp at 7,500 rpm and 8.62 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. There's electric and kick start means fitted as standard.
It's held aloft with telescopic forks in front and twin shocks at the back. The fuel tank can carry 4.3-liters. It's offered with spoked rims or tubeless alloy rims with drum brakes for the front and back.
The EX5 is offered in Pearl Nightfall Blue and Pearl Magellanic Black.
For those curious, it sells for RM4,783 (PhP58,306) for the spoked rim version and RM5,009 (PhP61,061) for the tubeless alloy.
The price does not include Malaysian road tax, insurance or registration.
It does, however, come with a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty.
