CB1000R Tribute to be raffled off to lucky visitor

The CB750 Four is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in Europe this year. In honor of this, Honda Italy is exhibiting the CB1000R Tribute at the 2019 Roma Motodays show. The special one-off motorcycle has been dressed up to pay homage to the classic CB750 Four. Those who purchase admission tickets are eligible to win the CB1000R Tribute at the end of the event. Roma Motodays is being held from March 7 to 10 at the Fiera di Roma Exhibition Centre.

The 2019 Roma Motodays show is currently holding a thematic exhibit around the influential CB750 Four, which debuted in Tokyo on November 1968 and was released globally the following year. Honda Italia created the CB1000R Tribute for Roma Motodays, dressing up the Neo Sports Café in Iridescent Blue and Gold paint and vintage logos which harken back to the original 1968 CB750 Four KO. The motorcycle now wears spoked Jonich wheels, gets an Alcantara saddle, and dons twin-stacked exhausts by SC-Project — a nice touch that imitates the original CB 750 Four’s. Other changes include new handlebars, mirrors, indicators, and a license plate holder.

Honda Italia’s CB1000R Tribute follows the retro trend of modifying modern motorcycles to wax nostalgic about iconic bikes in history. Manufacturers and custom garages will continue to do so, keeping the memory and heritage of such significant machines alive.
