Title sponsor for coming games

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), recently announced its partnership with the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to be the title sponsor of the Commissioner’s Cup for the 2018-19 season. The Comissioner's Cup is set to begin next month.

The deal was announced at the Solaire Resort and Casino in Paranaque City with PBA stars Christ Tiu, Beau Belga, and Jeff Chan present. With this, Honda hopes to reach more Filipinos by becoming a visible presence in the most prestigious televised basketball league, the PBA.

The PBA will be holding its 43rd season this year. With this agreement, HPI's branding and “The Power of Dreams” campaign will be prominently featured during broadcasts of the games. Besides this, HPI has also planned activities, displays and promos to coincide with the games.

“Basketball has been a part of the Philippine culture and the Filipinos’ love for the sport is nothing short of amazing,” said Daiki Mihara, president of HPI. “We hope that through this partnership, HPI can extend its support to Filipino talents, especially in the PBA league. We also see the value of partnering with institutions, like PBA, especially that our motorcycles appeal to the young and active fans of the league.”

HPI aims to introduce the company to the PBA viewers as a market leader in motorcycles, spare parts, and power products.
