The original cruiser is now more affordable

Harley-Davidson of Manila hopes to encourage more riders to sample the cruiser lifestyle with its new competitive pricing, particularly for the Sportster and Softail line of models.

The new, more competitive pricing is the result of these models now being assembled in Thailand and benefiting from the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA) which dramatically reduces tariffs. Despite being made in Thailand, Harley-Davidson motorcycles assembled here are still subjected to the same strict quality controls as those built in the US.

The Sportster models start at PhP 650,000 for the Superlow up to PhP 900,000 for the Roadster. The Sportster Superlow (pictured above) is an air-cooled 883cc Evolution V-Twin available in Bonneville Salt Denim, Twisted Cherry, Vivid Black, and Wicked Red/Barracuda Silver colors.

The popular Iron 883 is available for just PhP 700,000, while the larger Iron 1200 is PhP 800,000.

The same price reductions have been applied to the recently-refreshed Softail models that start at PhP 1,100,000 for the Street Bob up to PhP 1,350,000 for the Heritage Classic 114. The Softail Street Bob (pictured above) is powered by a 1,745cc (107ci) Milwaukee Eight V-Twin. It's available in Billiard Blue, Industrial Gray Denim, Rugged Gold Denim, Vivid Black, Wicked Red / Twisted Cherry, and Wicked Red Denim colors.

This pricing is a continuation of the new pricing scheme first unveiled at Harley-Davidson of Manila's National Open House held last year. Select 2018 models are still available at discounted prices.
