It's been practically impossible to avoid the hype surrounding the Harley-Davidson Pan America with promises, launch dates and reschedules all throughout the year.
We already know its specs, its variants, and thanks to some leaks, its price. So when can Pinoys finally get their hands on a Pan America 1250 or even a top-spec Pan America 1250 Special?
After seeing the new adventure bike from Milwaukee in the recently concluded Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS), the Pan America is finally heading to the Philippines with the official unveiling confirmed to be happening his May 2, 2021.
As for the price, local Harley-Davidson dealers here in the country wish to hold it off until May 2nd, but according to insiders, the price of the Pan America will not be too far from its intended rival – the BMW R 1250 GS – at PhP1.4-million.
The Pan America is Harley-Davidson’s first foray into the adventure bike segment, which is dominated locally by BMW’s R 1250 GS Adventure.
Apart from top shelf adventure-riding related electronics and features, the Pan America 1250 also boasts of industry-first Adaptive Ride Height Control (ARHC) which adjusts the Pan America’s height to as much as 2-inches lower when fully stopped. It can also return back to its standard ride height automatically when moving again.
