H-D Thailand shows off Pan America 1250

Much has been said and written about Harley-Davidson’s (H-D) first venture into manufacturing adventure motorcycles. And after almost being shelved indefinitely, the boys from Milwaukee thankfully saved it for production and unveiled the Pan America 1250 last month.

Now, at the 2021 Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand, H-D debuts the Pan America for the ASEAN market.

The Pan America is Harley-Davidson’s first foray into the adventure bike segment, which is dominated by BMW’s R 1250 GS Adventure.

Apart from top shelf adventure-riding related electronics and features, the Pan America 1250 also boasts of industry-first Adaptive Ride Height Control (ARHC) which adjusts the Pan America’s height to as much as 2-inches lower when fully stopped. It can also return back to its standard ride height when moving again.

Earlier this month, MotoPinas was the first to break the news of the Pan America’s potential arrival here in the country.

“The Pan America will arrive in April,” said Bobby Orbe, general manager, Wheeltek Big Bikes Division, parent company of Wheeltek Harley-Davidson of Cavite.  The SRP, however, is still to be determined.

Now in Thailand, is the Pan America landing here soon?
