New models to be revealed in coming Ducati webisodes

In keeping with the safety restrictions of the current pandemic, and since EICMA has been cancelled this year, Ducati is opting to unveil several new models through a series of virtual events.

The Bologna-based brand will be taking the wraps off its new motorcycles and developments via a 5-episode web series to be broadcast on its website and social media channels.

Ducati has not indicated which models it is, though since it has spend a significant amount of time developing new V4 engines, it’s a sure bet that these are its mainstream models. Based on the steady stream of news on several projects, we do have a good idea of what they could be.

Since the Streetfighter, Panigale, and Multistrada have just been launched, the next model to receive a V4 is likely the Monster. We’ve already seen leaked photos that show a new alloy frame which replaces the traditional trellis frame.

Another one in line is likely the Diavel model. While this one may not necessarily get a new V4 engine, it’s highly likely that Ducati will at least reveal a Euro5 compliant version, or possibly even the rumored Diavel Lamborghini. That should certainly come soon before Ducati is separated from the VW Group.

Other models to expect could be new Scramblers. Last year, Ducati shared news on new derivatives like the DesertX and Motard. They may not necessarily be launches, but chances are high that Ducati will at least update us on their progress.
