Marc Marquez to race for Gresini Racing (Ducati) in 2024

Earlier this month, Marc Marquez and Honda mutually agreed to end their MotoGP relationship after 11 years and 6 MotoGP championships.

Now, Marc’s MotoGP journey is long from being over as Gresini Racing – a Ducati satellite team – confirmed that the Spanish rider will be suiting up for them in the 2024 racing season.

In a recent X (tweeter) post, Gresini Racing has welcomed the 6-time MotoGP champion. “IT IS OFFICIAL: @marcmarquez93 JOINS TEAM GRESINI MOTOGP”

This will also mean that Marc will be riding alongside his brother, Alex, for the 2024 MotoGP crown. “I’m excited about this new challenge. It wasn’t an easy decision because it’s a big change in every way. But sometimes in life, it’s important to get out of your comfort zone and put yourself through the paces in order to keep growing. Bike-chance-wise, I know I will have to adapt my riding style to a few things, and it won’t be easy. But I’m also sure that the whole Team Gresini will help me a lot. I can’t wait to get to know the team and start working with them. I’d like to thank Nadia, Carlo and Michele for the trust and respect they showed me.”

Gresini Racing is a Ducati satellite team founded in Italy by Fausto Gresini in 1997. The team also competes in Moto2 as QJMotor Gresini Moto2, as well as in MotoE as the Felo Gresini MotoE.
