Less than a month after it was totally closed to all vehicular traffic, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will reopen the busy EDSA-Timog Flyover southbound tomorrow, 5:00 PM, July 23, 2022.
The busy flyover was closed last June 25, 2022, due to the damage that required 30 meters of repairs and reconstruction of the flyover’s critical components.
“We are happy to report that we were able to deliver on the given 30-day timetable despite the intermittent rain showers experienced in the past weeks”, said DPWH 2nd District Engineer, Eduardo Santos.
Around 140,000 vehicles passing through the flyover daily were affected by the closure.
