Participants need to register online to join this year's DGR

On May 23, hundreds of thousands of classic and vintage-style motorcycle riders from more than 700 cities will wear their most dapper ensemble and ride for the annual Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.

Here in Metro Manila, thousands of riders have joined our DGR moto rally/parade to support this cause since 2014. This year, while we continue to navigate our new reality and the challenges of the pandemic, Metro Manila participants are encouraged to ride solo to comply with local social distancing restrictions and health policies. But this doesn’t mean it’s going to be less fun.

There will be two exciting components to this year’s event: The Shoot-Tag-Ride-Repeat (STRR) Challenge for riders in the morning, where participants are encouraged to stop at partner pitstops/establishments, take selfies, and post on IG for a chance to win awesome prizes from official DGR Manila 2021 partners.

There is also the Ride Solo, Party Together; it's a virtual event in the afternoon which will be streamed live from the showroom of official partner Triumph Motorcycles Philippines from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Besides looking back at previous DGR moto rallies in Manila and talking to special guests in the industry, organizers will also be giving away prizes to winners of our Shoot-Tag-Ride-Repeat (STRR) challenge.

This year, the global goal is to raise USD 7 million (about PHP 334.5 million) for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health initiatives on behalf of official charity partner, the Movember Foundation. Together with The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, the foundation is dedicated to addressing some of the largest health issues faced by men around the world.

Details of the official DGR Manila 2021 STRR challenge will only be available to registered participants, and will not be posted publicly for safety. Should you wish to participate on May 23 and donate to DGR’s global cause, you may register at www.gentlemansride.com.
