CHAMMP exhibits newest models at Rider's Day Out in Tagaytay

The Chamber of Assemblers and Manufacturers of Motorcycles in the Philippines, Inc. (CHAMMP), held its Rider's Day Out at the Tagaytay International Convention Center last Sunday, February 23, 2020. The group is composed of six member companies that import, manufacture, and distribute Chinese motorcycle models in the country.

According to the organizers, a total of 3,145 riders graced the event, with some coming from as far as Samar and Masbate in the Visayas riding for days just to attend the gathering.

The event was composed of a ride as well as an exhibit of the latest models offered by the participating companies. Besides discounted items from the different brand presenters, 9 lucky winners took home brand-new motorcycles that were raffled off during the event. Francisco Mateo, Sr., who came all the way from Masbate, took home a brand new Motorstar Xplorer X200R sportbike.

Perhaps, what caught our attention was the new bikes being offered by Bristol and Motorstar. For Bristol, there's the Cafe Racer-inspired BR250, with an SRP of only PhP148,000 and their adventure bike offering, the Venturi 500 with an SRP of PhP358,000. Motorstar, on the other hand, will be soon offering some of Loncin's Voge motorcycle lineup, which we featured here.

Anthony Chua, incumbent president of CHAMMP, expressed his gratitude to all who made the event a successful one. “To all the riders and motorcycle clubs who made efforts to join the CHAMMP event and participated on the different activities such as Test Ride, Biker Babe Pilipinas 2020, Fun games and to the 9 lucky winners of brand new motorcycle during the Grand Raffle draw, congratulations! CHAMMP will be forever grateful for sharing your valued time with us.”
