CFMOTO unwraps NK C22 concept bike at EICMA

The Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori or more popularly known throughout the world simply as EICMA, traditionally, is the epicenter when it comes to the first public appearances of new motorcycle models, including concept bikes.

For Chinese motorcycle brand, CFMOTO, EICMA is also the perfect opportunity to show the world their latest concept motorcycles.

NK400’s big brother

Here in the country, the CFMOTO NK400 is one of the most affordable expressways-legal motorcycles that could get with its PHP 248,900 SRP. Because of that, it has become one of the most popular motorcycle choices for those who are “graduating” from sub-400cc underbones and scooters.

During this year’s edition of EICMA, CFMOTO once again awed fans from all over with their new NK C22 concept bike which is based on their new 800cc platform – the same platform that is used by KTM’s Duke 790 Scalpel.

The NK-C22 concept is a muscular bike with aggressive lines and is expected to become the NK400’s bigger sibling. The Y shape of the headlight attracts attention; while the double SC Performance tailpipes and single-sided swing arm pay tribute to more expensive Italian-made motorcycles.

Other features include carbon fiber fairings, what looks like Nissin brake calipers, ABS, Pirelli tires, and many more.

We have to remember that this is only a concept bike which means that not everything we see here will end up in the showroom model, should the NK C22 gets the thumbs up for production.
