New highway-legal sport touring bike

First debuting in the country in 2018, CFMoto continues to expand its lineup with another model launched at the 13th Inside Racing Bike Fest and Trade Show. At the event, the brand took the wraps off its latest sport touring model, the 400 GT. It also launched its latest sister brand, Zontes.

The 400 GT is designed for both city and touring use, thanks to its near upright riding position, high windscreen and comfortable ride. The motorcycle was designed by Austrian-based company, KISKA. CFMoto itself has ties to Austrian-based KTM, and is in talks to build a manufacturing facility for KTM bikes in China.

The 400 GT is propoelled by a parallel twin 4-stroke liquid-cooled, 400.4cc engine, paired to a 6-speed transmission. It produces 41.5 PS at 9,500 rpm and 34.4 Nm of torque at 7,650 rpm. Bringing it to a stop are two petal disc brakes in front and one in the rear. It also comes with ABS as standard.

It features a low seat height of 795 mm, a windshield that can be adjusted up to 60 mm, swing back racing-style mirrors, and all LED dual headlamps.

Ride information can be seen on its 5-inch full TFT color display, with auto day/night modes.

The 400 GT is offered in Concept Blue and Nebula White.

The 400 GT has an SRP of PhP 276,000

Besides the bike itself, CFMoto also offers accessories like side boxes, a radiator shield and side protector bars.
