It’s no secret that CFMOTO – one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in China and the world – has a long-standing technical partnership with Austria’s KTM. In fact, a lot of motorcycles in KTM’s lineup have components and engines that are supplied by CFMOTO.
One example is the 790 Duke “Scalpel”. With an SRP that starts at PHP 599,000.00, the Scalpel is still very much beyond the pay reach of an average middle-class Filipino.
800NK
Today at the Makina Moto Show, Motostrada took off the covers of the new CFMOTO 800NK and it starts at just PHP 488,800.
The new 800NK is powered by the same potent 799cc parallel-twin engine used by the 790 Duke, although a bit toned down to roughly 100 PS of power and 81 Nm of torque vs the Duke’s 107 PS and 87 Nm.
Outside, the 800NK didn’t compromise on equipment, as it boasts 43mm inverted KYB forks and a KYB monoshock. As for the brakes, the 800NK is equipped with dual 4-piston J.Juan front calipers and single-piston rear calipers with ABS as standard. The 800NK is also equipped with riding modes, a slipper clutch, a large TFT with smartphone mirroring function, keyless ignition, full-LED lighting, a quick-shifter, and many more.
