Back in January of last year, CFMOTO unveiled the 800MT – an LC8-powered adventure bike ready to take you to your next adventure ride.
Now, the CFMOTO 800MT debuts in the Philippines with an SRP of PHP 515,500 for the Sport variant (cast wheels) and PHP 565,500 for the Touring variant (wire wheels).
800MT Sport and 800MT Touring
The CFMOTO 800MT is powered by a DOHC liquid-cooled 799cc twin-cylinder engine, and churns out 97 PS at 9000rpm, torque figures at 77 Nm at 7500rpm. Such power delivery brings sufficient confidence for a long-distance journey.
The 800MT is also equipped with selectable riding modes, while the large 19-liter fuel tank ensures the rider that the bike can go a respectable 300 kilometers or more in one top-up.
According to CFMOTO Philippines, the new 800MT also enjoys an inverted KYB front suspension, which provides 20-clicks adjustment of preload, compression, and rebound damping, making it capable of handling various terrains, giving its rider confidence and riding stability.
The front suspension spring travel is 160mm, and the rear suspension spring travel is 150mm. coupled with a 190mm of minimum ground clearance, the sophisticated chassis ensures that the motorcycle can confidently travel through mountain roads and bumpy surfaces.
The CFMOTO 800MT is launched with a range of standard equipment that is unique for middle-weight motorcycles. Riding modes plus Cornering ABS are fitted as standard for a high degree of riding enjoyment and safety, as well as intelligent electronic systems such as cruise control and ride-by-wire electronic throttle. The cornering ABS offers increased safety by providing better stability when decelerating into the bends.
Another notable feature of the new 800MT is the intelligent lighting system, which adapts to complex lighting environments in real-time, penetrates the misty roads, and guides vehicles forward.
In addition, the CFMOTO 800MT is equipped with a class-leading 7-inch TFT full-color display. The vehicle information is shown clearly in the day and after the sun sets, and it supports built-in navigation.
The approximate wet weight of the 800MT is 237 kilograms, oiled, full tank, and ready for adventure.
