Buy it then build it

One might say that a man's motorcycle is an extension of his personality, and customizing it to his preferences takes it even further. While the likes of Pong Ylagan or Jorge Jacinto, both talented motorcycle customizers and builders, can turn your motorcycle into an artwork, it doesn't come cheap. And, although doing the customizing yourself may save you some dough, it may not come as close as what these talented builders do.

In India however, one company offers bolt-on kits for an array of motorcycle brands, including Royal Enfield that may not break the bank. Autologue Design, which was founded in 2013, is now offering the Royal Enfield Cafe Kit (RECK2) bolt-on package specially designed for the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.

What the US$249 or roughly PhP13,000 kit includes is a quarter fairing, laser-cut stainless steel bracket (for relocating the headlight), and a fully-digital Motogadget Motoscope Pro speedometer. To tidy up the overall look, customers can order the seat cowl and 3-D printed side covers separately.

As with many customized motorcycles, the paint job should also stand out and, as much as possible, be one-of-a-kind. As interesting as this irridescent paint job is, it's not part of Autologue Design's RECK2 kit. Customers will have to paint the kit and bike on their own. Thankfully, there are many local shops that can easily manage that. Martini Racing or Gulf Oil livery, perhaps?

Those interested in the kit may visit Autologue Design's website and place their order. Shipping and taxes are not included.
