Bristol Motorcycles have been delighting us with their quality motorcycles with price tags that won’t put a hole in your bank account. There’s the Classic 400i, the Veloce 500, and the very, very capable ADV bike, the Venturi 500.
Now, Bristol motorcycles will have a maxi-scooter that will delight riders who want an everyday twist-and-go ride and at the same time can pass through the expressways, with the bonus of being able to tackle a little off-road.
On the outside, the overall design cues of the Maxie400 lean toward the adventure-type scooter that is popularized by Honda’s X-ADV 750. Besides the striking lines, the Maxie400 also features a long-travel front suspension, complemented by a pair of spring shock absorbers at the rear.
The engine, is a 377cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC powerplant that produces about 31 Ps of power at 7,000 rpm, while torque output is around 33.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Other features include an adjustable windshield, keyless ignition, dual-sport tires, all-LED lighting, a large TFT screen, and a pair of cameras for the front and rear.
The TFT screen can also be paired to a smartphone via an app to adjust the screen settings, download the video from the Maxie400’s cameras and navigate by using GPS.
