BMW proudly presents the 2021 R nineT model range

BMW recently unveiled their 2021 R nineT Heritage line of motorcycles. According to BMW Motorrad, these bikes have undergone fine-tuning both technically and aesthetically, and are now Euro 5 emissions compliant.

Originally presented in 2013, the R nineT line has, from the very onset, combined classic motorcycle design and modern technology with excellent craftsmanship and a wide range of customization options.

New for 2021

To meet the current Euro 5 restrictions, BMW has redesigned the boxer engine’s cylinder heads. Peak power now has been reduced from 111 Ps to 110 Ps, but the torque output has stayed at 116 Nm.

Though the power output on paper may seem less, due to the redesigned cylinder heads, the 2021 R nineT motorcycles’ pulling power are now tangibly better than those of the predecessor.

Also, all R nineT models now come standard with features that were previously optional items. These include ABS Pro in combination with DBC (Dynamic Brake Control) for increased safety when braking, and suspension with travel-dependent damping (WAD). Full LED lighting is also standard across all models. They've also included USB charging sockets.

Naturally, the menu of optional equipment and accessories has also expanded. Among these are Option 719 branded wheels, milled parts packages and BMW Motorrad branded rear conversion kits with a short rear end and number plate holder behind the rear wheel, as well as a rear end in tracker style (Tracker rear end).
