Talks about the fully-faired version of BMW Motorrad’s G 310 R have been around since 2020. We can’t blame the people, especially when all it takes is just a couple more plastics and maybe an updated ECU to produce the S 1000 RR’s little sibling.

Now, that has become a reality for BMW’s customers in India.

Just recently,  BMW Motorrad India unveiled the G 310 RR and has begun accepting bookings for the 2023 model year. The G 310 RR will be the third member of the 310 family, after the G 310 R and the G 310 GS.

Like the G 310 R and the G 310 GS, the G 310 RR is based on TVS’ motorcycles that sport the company’s backward-tilted liquid-cooled 313cc single-cylinder double overhead cam (DOHC) engine. As opposed to a conventional engine, this thumper’s intake manifold is in front while its exhaust is in the rear. It makes 34 PS that is then paired to a 6-speed constant mesh transmission with chain.

Other features include full-LED lighting, a 5-inch vertical TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, riding modes, and BMW’s signature M Performance color livery.

Price starts at USD 3,575, while the top trim will be sold at USD 3,750, or roughly PHP 201,000 and PHP 211,000, respectively (PH taxes and duties not included).

BMW Motorrad Philippines has yet to announce the arrival and pricing of the G 310 RR in the country.
