Marc de Joya to lead Bikerbox, distributor of Aprilia and Moto Guzzi

Bikerbox, Inc., has named Marc de Joya as its new president. The announcement was made during a simple gathering of friends yesterday at the dealership's home in Sucat, Paranaque yesterday evening.

Marc is no stranger when it comes to motorcycles. He's been a member of ATAT Motorcycle Club – a sportsbike-oriented motorcycle club – since 2003 and has ridden motorcycles in different parts of the globe. Chatting with MotoPinas.com, he recalls that, back in the day, he was probably the only guy who rode his motorcycle to work at Columbian Autocar Corporation, where he spent 15 years of his career. This was during a time when there were still only a few motorcycles on the road.

Perhaps for most of us, we may know Marc from his stint with Ducati Philippines, spanning 7 years. While in Ducati, Marc was instrumental to the success of this premium brand from Italy. The Philippine distributor received the Best in Customer Relations award in 2017, as well as Best in Network Development and Best Importer awards in 2018 during his tenure.

New beginnings

Now with the Bikerbox team, headed by Mike Bondoc, Marc de Joya plans on further strengthening the brands that they carry, particularly the Aprilia and Moto Guzzi brands, where they have established partnerships with the LausGroup in Pampanga and Norminring in Mindanao. Soon, a Bikerbox shop will also open in the Visayas region, offering premium brands such as Ruby Helmets, Qwart Helmets, Veldt Helmets, Shark Helmets, Arai Helmets, Airoh Helmets, Biltwell Helmets and many more.
