Just a few days ago, we reported that the Aprilia RS 660 may land on our shores sometime in the last quarter of 2020, assuming the COVID-19 situation improves. In the same conversation with our friends from Bikerbox, Inc., the official distributor of Aprilia motorcycles in the country, another middleweight sportbike will also arrive: the Tuono 660.
Scheduled to arrive in 2021, the Tuono 660 doesn't differ much from the RS 660, from the frame to the electronics package, but for one thing. Power was toned down a bit to only 96 Ps (95 Hp), compared to the RS 660's 101 Ps (100 Hp). Like the bigger Tuono V4 1100, which is the semi-naked version of the RSV4, the Tuono 660 also offers a pretty decent amount of aerodynamic double fairings.
Tuned for more street rideability, the Tuono 660 comes equipped with higher handlebars for better comfort, a passenger seat, and passenger footpegs.
Now that a Tuono 125 is being developed, the Tuono 660 is now the middleweight variant of the Tuono line.
Like the RS 660, there is no price yet for the Tuono 660. Please stay tuned for updates.
