The national government has recently announced the transition of NCR+ (which includes Metro Manila, as well as the provinces of Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal) from ECQ to MECQ. In line with this, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has also announced that their operations will remain suspended for the duration of the said MECQ.
That means all of LTO’s branches, including its Driver’s License Renewal Office (DLRO) across Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal will remain closed until April 30, 2021.
For those who need to renew their driver’s license, as well as those who need to renew their vehicle’s registration, the LTO will announce a new extension policy soon. That last was announced two weeks ago. It can be found here.
