Fans of the Kawasaki Rouser series will have a new reason to rush to the nearest showroom. The NS 200, as well as the sporty RS200, get a new color scheme and are now equipped with ABS (anti-lock braking system).
The Rouser 200NS – which shares a lot in common with KTM’s Duke and RC 200 motorcycles – is powered by a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 4-valve engine with Digital Triple Spark Ignition (DTS-I) that produces about 26 Ps of power at 9,750 rpm, with a torque output of 18.6 Nm at 8,000 rpm.
Since the fully-faired RS200 shares the same engine as the 200NS, engine specs are the same. Both bikes also retain their telescopic forks and Nitrox mono shock absorber, while the RS200 still retains its signature projector headlight and LED tail and signal lights.
For the 2021-onwards model, both the RS200 and 200NS Rouser get EFI fuel management, and dual-channel ABS – that means both bikes are now have ABS on the front and rear wheels.
Also, both bikes now get a new, more masculine color scheme of either a black and gray, or black and white combination.
Paired with the RS200's 13-liter fuel tank, or the 200NS's a 12-liter fuel tank, and they're all set for long, enjoyable rides.
The new Kawasaki RS200 ABS will be available at your nearest Kawasaki showroom with an SRP of PhP133,900, while the naked Rouser 200NS will be available at PhP116,000.
