Honda definitely produces some of the finest dirt bikes and yet, unfortunately, they don't officially bring it to the Philippines. Our friends, who are hobbyists and some of them serious off-roaders, have no choice but to look for gray market importers so they could get their hands on the latest Honda production dirt bikes. One of those fine dirt bikes is the 2020 CRF450X.

The 2020 CRF450X would have been a great dirt bike for Filipino riders who want a serious off-roading machine. With off-road appropriate features like a side stand, 18-inch rear and 21-inch front wheel; headlight, sealed chain, and six-speed transmission, it's ready for dirt expanses or tight woods, and a new graphics scheme for 2020 model year. If racing is well within your plans, a few mods will get you going right away. This CRF450X, unlike the CRF450L, is not "toned down" and retains that signature 450cc power output of the CRF450R motocross bike.

Unlike KTM, Kawasaki, and Yamaha; Honda Philippines is still a bit “conservative” when it comes to importing some of the goodies they sell abroad. Sometimes there are big bikes, dirt bikes, underbones and even scooters that have a potential here in the country, but Honda seems to be a little reluctant on bringing them here.

With KTM Philippines confirming to bring in Husqvarna motorcycles this year (which would ultimately mean the coming of their dirt bikes), while Yamaha and Kawasaki also bringing in their good stuff, would Honda become more “liberal” in terms of importing their latest machines?
