Yamaha’s new 3S Shop in Cagayan de Oro heralds nationwide expansion
Yamaha Motor Philippines is now offering its lineup of big bikes in Mindanao for the first time. The brand new ‘3S Shop’ officially opened its doors on December 8-9, 2016 in Cagayan de Oro and is the largest Yamaha dealership yet in the southern region.
Motorcycle riders in Visayas and Mindanao can now purchase the manufacturer’s large displacement models that had previously only been available at Yamaha’s flagship store YZone in Metro Manila. These exciting big bikes include the Super Tenere, Bolt, MT-07 or MT-09, TMax, and the YZF-R1.
The turnover ceremony had Yamaha Motor Philippines President Toru Osugi cut the ribbon alongside the CEO of Motorman Group of Companies, Bong Macasarte. Guests were invited to tour Cagayan de Oro’s new 3S Shop, which features a spacious service bay for repair and maintenance, a lounge, and upgraded amenities. Later in the evening, riders enjoyed the live music of an acoustic band.
After the ribbon cutting, guests were then taken on an exclusive tour inside the brand new 3S shop, which features an innovative design based on the brand's unique philosophy. It is also equipped with upgraded amenities such as a bigger repair and maintenance area as well as a more comfortable lounge.
Completing the night is a Bike Night program, wherein riders get to enjoy each other's company along with an ambient acoustic band.
On the second day of the grand launch, the public was invited to the venue for more festivities. There were games, dance contests, DJs, and more live music from acts like TJ Monterde and Spongecola.
Yamaha Philippines is ending the year and starting 2017 with the brand new 3S shop in Cagayan de Oro, but it is not stopping there. The brand has plans to expand all over the archipelago by 2020, with cities like Cebu and Davao in mind. The manufacturer also said that they aim to provide the entire country an access to every motorcycle category and facilities.
